Dean started DJ'ing back in 1985, when the House music scene started to take off here in the UK. His love of all things electronic and the classic 4/4 beat has driven his career over the decades. Having spun his vinyl at clubs like 'The Hacienda', 'Lakota', 'Breath', 'Up For It' and many more around the UK plus a 2 year spell in Spain, his experience at reading a dance floor is second to none.
The first record Dean produced was in 1999 with fellow 'Party Tribe' DJ Eddie Taurus. 'Baby Bouncer' was made to celebrate the birth of a daughter to each, both borne within a few months of each other. The track was a happy House tune that represented the scene in which both the lads made their name. The following year 'What's Inside Me?' was released through mp3.com, this debut album feature a mixture of genre's from the dance music scene and included another top hit 10 (on both mp3.com and PeopleSound.co.uk) 'Inside Me'. His second album 'Who Am I?' followed in 2001 and featured the massive No.1 hit (PeopleSound.co.uk Techno chart) 'The Monster's Mother' and top 10 hit 'In My Brain'. Both of these albums where released under the name 'Paranoid Jon', but Dean also releases tracks under other names, including his own DJ name and Psion.
Today Dean is still going strong on the production front with an album by 'Psion' due out in 2008, although he has not been on the DJ circuit for a few years, offers are starting to come in to persuade him to get the headphones out again and to entertain the masses with his silky smooth mixes and ability to read a dance floor.
